What to expect from a maternity session
Maternity sessions are one of my favourite things to photograph. A typical maternity sessions starts with both some posed and candid photos of you and your significant other, and/or family. We then move onto portraits of just you and your perfect little (or maybe not so little) baby bump.
I recommend doing your maternity photos about 7 to 8 months into your pregnancy. I suggest that timeline for a few reasons, you want to be far enough into your pregnancy that you have a defined baby bump, but not so far into your pregnancy that you're getting really uncomfortable. You also don't want to leave it too last minute and risk the baby coming a little early and you missing out on getting any maternity photos.
